We’re happy to share some wonderful news: Bensenville School District 2 is partnering with the Village of Bensenville for this year’s Holiday Toy Drive! Our generous BSD2 staff will be donating toys to help spread holiday cheer, bring smiles to local children, and ease some of the pressure on families this season.

We understand that many families in our community are currently facing uncertainty and hardship due to disruptions to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). Please remember you are not alone. BSD2 and our community partners are ALL IN when it comes to supporting our families.  

The budget will allow the District to continue to offer all of its programs. It projects a $46,000 surplus, with expenditures and revenues roughly balancing at $47 million. 

Bensenville School District 2 will conduct free developmental screenings for children ages 3-5 on August 12, September 18, October 22, December 5, February 19, and May 29. These screenings are the first step in identifying children for our Preschool for All program and/or Head Start. Call the Tioga School office at 630-766-2602 ext. 4200 to schedule an appointment for your child’s screening.

Stanowa Rada Edukacji Illinois opublikowała Karty Raportów Illinois 2024. Bensenville School District 2 z dumą świętuje, że wszystkie trzy nasze szkoły otrzymały godne pochwały oznaczenie. Oznaczenie to opiera się na kilku wskaźnikach: osiągnięciach/wzroście akademickim, wskaźnikach frekwencji i ankiecie 5 Essentials.

The budget authorizes about $46.4 million of revenue, and $57 million in expenditures, including $11 million for the renovation of Blackhawk Middle School. The renovation costs are being paid for with cash on hand from before the year began. Without the renovation costs, the budget has a modest surplus of about $600,000, or 1.3 percent of revenue. 

Dystrykt 2 ogłasza teraz Dni eLearning podczas zamykania szkół z powodu ekstremalnych warunków pogodowych. Dzień eLearning liczy się jako zwykły dzień szkolny i nie wymaga od Dystryktu wykorzystania wbudowanego dnia awaryjnego pod koniec roku szkolnego.
